About Sukrit
Sukrit is a photographer based in Bangkok, Thailand. Since 2011, he aims to use photography as a tool to discover the world and capture experiences, emotions and stories that transcend beyond any language barriers. Through his photography and use of social media, he aspires to not only create inspiration for people to travel, explore, and search for new experiences and stories to tell, but also to connect people with a shared appreciation of our world and its natural diversity.
Outside of his artistry, Sukrit also works as a professional tax consultant with a focus on International Tax Services and Mergers and Acquisitions, assisting both domestic and foreign clients with inbound and outbound investments into and out of Thailand. He has worked on numerous projects involving large multinational companies and institutions in industries ranging across Energy, Oil and Gas, Financial Services, Real Estate, Retail and Consumer Products, Industrial Manufacturing, and Hotel and Hospitality, assisting in tax due diligences, efficient tax structuring, and tax advisory for both pre-deal and post-deal opportunities.
Sukrit graduated from Northeastern University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a dual concentration in Accounting and Finance. During his time at Northeastern, Sukrit was an active member of the student-led photography club, NUPiC, and served as its executive board for one academic year and its president for another. In his tenure as president of the club, he reinitiated various programs such as the annual photography calendar fundraiser and founded the PiXEL magazine, a quarterly photography magazine featuring stories on student photography, within the club, in the general student body, and in the Boston community beyond.
As a creative and professional consultant, with a background in business, finance, and tax, Sukrit aims to use his knowledge to uplift the creative community through continuous discourse on commercial conduct and planning, best entrepreneurial practices, and personal finance strategy.
Since entering the NFT ecosystem in 2021, Sukrit has used his platform to empower artists and photographers and is focused on developing further educational resources for responsible and practical onboarding to the general population. Currently, Sukrit has authored two NFT beginner’s guides, one focusing on introducing creators to NFTs and getting started, whilst the other on basic accounting, financial and tax considerations for NFTs and crypto transactions for newcomers to consider. In January 2023, Sukrit officially became a TIMEPiece artist participating in his first project, TIMEPieces x Deepak Chopra: The Seven Collection, where he joined 72 other artists in reinterpreting the cover for Deepak Chopra’s best-selling book The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success.
